You have a point, but Here to Stay is one classic example of KoRn in my opinion, and the entire album is more like them just taking yet another new direction, while SYOTOS just goes over the edge imo. But yeah, nothing wrong with change in general... It's quite admirable actually that they've been brave enough to change their success formula. Heard the new KoRn song yet, by the way?

Funny you mentioned that bass solo - I love it too and I think it really shows how Fieldy can be soft too with his playing, no matter how insane that sounds.

Major Label - Fat Lady With a Cigarette

The name fits quite well really. The main riff is as thick as a fat lady, or a cigarette, or both...

"We’ve never tried to come off as better than our fans, our fans... when they come to see us play, they’re actually a part of, you know, us playing. Sonny, the way he is on stage, he connects with them, emotional and in every kind of way you can imagine, you know, musically, and I think that they can see that it’s not, you know, a put on, it’s not something that’s fake, it’s real." -

I'm tending to think of Life is Peachy - Twist, Swallow, and No Place to Hide, say - as 'classic' Korn songs, so I guess our perceptions are quite skewed. And *eyes light up* they realeased a new song? Awesome! I knew there was supposed to be a new album out earlyish this year, but I've been kind of out of touch these past few weeks. Will have to check-see if it's on youtube yet in the morning.

Throw Me Away just ended, hahah. Now: Hushabye - Korn

That is true, but Here to Stay has that aggressive, trademark tone in the vocals that I recognize as KoRn. The guitars and bass are mostly loud and rock hard, and there's that "I don't care what you think of me, now get away" attitude written over it. Blind still remains as the best KoRn song ever, but Here to Stay is certainly awesome. Life Is Peachy is really just a weaker version of the self-titled, and the band didn't actually change anywhere in between those two releases, if we forget the fact that they started doing songs like A.D.I.D.A.D., eventually leading to Head's departure.

I'll save you some time; here's the new song:

Listening to Tool - 10,000 Days (Wings, Pt. 2). This album really is weak compared to Lateralus and Aenima...

Hm...that songs sounds kick ass. But with KoRn...IDK. They're are really well known. And like those who aren't that into KoRn too much, I like Freak On A Leash. But I got their latest album which was...idk...a big change to me. But I know other songs by them tho. Like my fav song by them would be...Good God or maybe Killing. Idk, it's really hard to say. But I'm not that much of a KoRn fan. I wouldn't call myself a fan at all I think. Lol yeah, I'm kinda confusing from time to time lol.

And the song for now ish:

Gorillaz - Clint Eastwood

Can probably relate to the song XD...ok not funny that much.

You are confusing yes, but sometimes it's nothing but refreshing and it makes you more original, anyway, so keep it up :)

Limp Bizkit - The Truth

I dare to say this song has the best intro in the history of music.

Soundgarden - Jesus Christ Pose

Ya know, they are coming back again. But tbh, I don't think they should. I mean, I know that they are a good band but that was back then in the 90's lol. So they might change their sound for all we know. Who knows!

Never listened to Soundgarden to be honest. I see your point though... One should never try to achieve former glory after finding that outside the window of success they're just as ordinary as everyone else.

Thursday - Cross Out The Eyes

Yes they are. Everyone is the same. Just how they are is the thing. Like appearance I mean.

O_o how'd you do that man?

Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Ya know I hate how the under rated artist get their songs covered and people think that it's their song. Like how Kanye did this songs. People thought it was his beat and all. No one thought it was Daft Punk. That really does get me upset. But then again that is why The Mars Volta hate Mainstream crap now and days. Also (hed) PE, they made a song called...was it...ah yes. Raise Hell. Good song. Even tho it's like the singer sounds like a rapper but hey, atleast he's making something he likes instead of selling out right?

Just a Guitar Pro file so far, but planning to record it someday.

As for your little rant there... I don't really care because anyone who's into rap should know that it's all about sampling, and if they don't know that they're just dumb and following the trend. I don't see how (hed) PE has to do with this, are you saying they sampled someone or they got sampled? One way or the other, nothing we can do. There are worse issues in the music business than this anyway.

Brian "Head" Welch - Re-Bel

Dark New Day - Pieces (damn when is there new album gonna get out? Seriously)

And (hed) PE is rarely known. The singer is rapping. But he's in a rock band. But it's that the guy isn't gonna turn to pop just to please everyone else. He's doing something he likes. Not what the music company likes. If the band doesn't get a lot of good results then that isn't gonna stop them. That's what I like about bands like them. They care about music, not money. But yeah, I'll stop me ranting.

Ah, I get it now. I had heard of the band and I knew they were rapcore, but I didn't know they're still making it. Major props for that, definitely.

I listened to that song last weekend (instead of going to bed like I said I was going to). I remember liking it. Though, the earbuds I have over here really suck so it had a lot of leeway, hahah.

The Wretched - NIN

Love the doom-doom-doom-doom beginning. I still reckon The Fragile (Left Disc) is one of the most perfect albums ever.
