Instant headbanger moment, right up there with Made of Scars March of the Pigs. Aww, and all three of the have 'of' in the name too.
dada-dadada -- BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. Yeah I get it you're an outcast, always under attack, always comin' in last, bringin' up the past - no one owes you anything; I think you need a shotgun blast, a kick in the *ss, so paranoid, WATCH YOUR BACK!
"We’ve never tried to come off as better than our fans, our fans... when they come to see us play, they’re actually a part of, you know, us playing. Sonny, the way he is on stage, he connects with them, emotional and in every kind of way you can imagine, you know, musically, and I think that they can see that it’s not, you know, a put on, it’s not something that’s fake, it’s real." - Mark Daniels of P.O.D.
This song would just about have to be awesome live. Also, I've used it to wake up \ psych up myself on several occasions, and yes, it's awesome for that too. Just all around spectacular. And I'm afraid that yes, the following caps are completely necessary.

^ Yup it IS awesome live. Man struts the stage like he owns it. Shame he spits all over it during his invincible stompage. *giggles and fans self* (Funniest part was his lecture where he came out and sat there alone on the stage and then proceded to abuse us all for sitting down too... man has a mean streak, fight fire with fire, I say) *sigh* Yeah happy days... I mean hours. Been happy days every time I remember the concert, to be sure I'll never wash my eyes again XD

^ Hey, you have to know SD enough to be able to disapprove *lol*
I Dare You - Shinedown
Still one of their best songs, simply because goddamn let's see you hit all those high notes. Christ. Daughtry covered it, and I'm going to have to say sorry, he sucked, which is odd since his voice is higher than Brent's. Anyway.
"Even in madness I know you still believe Paint me on canvas so I become What you could never be
I dare you totell me to walk through fire Wear my soul and call me a liar I dare you to tell me to walk through fire I dare you to tell me, I dare you to."
Implied: Because guess what, I will. I can take it.
Hm. At one point I really loved this song, for kind of personal reasons, and now those reasons have been altered. It's still a nice song, but it makes me think of someone I'm just too bitter at now. I want to still love this song - I mean it's more or less about forgiving, moving on - but gah. It's hard to move on while someone's still hanging on.
"I will always be attached to you But it's never gonna feel the same."
F*ck that. I don't want to be attached. It hurts. And it's not some day, and I'm not older, and I'm just pissed off in general.
