^I was just going to suggest that! Please, at least shorten it to 30 seconds, having to hit the 'submit post' button for 10 times or so is getting on my nerves... I understand flood but 1 minute is just cruel!

The reason why I have post flood limit that time is to prevent any spammers on here. I know it sounds cruel but it gives you time to read the thread instead of instantly posting. But considering our number at the moment, I will shorten it. But once numbers start to grow, I will put it back up to a minute.

one thing with the recent posts feature...is it possible to change the settings on that? and I mean to have the dates and times of posts, instead of how many minutes or hrs ago it was posted if it were to have dates and times instead it would be so much easier to figure which threads you already read the last time you visited
Let me take a look at that for you and see what I can do.
EDIT: Sorry no can do.
But there is a question I would like to raise with everyone in general, is everyone happy with the post per page length at the moment? If not I can go adjust it to an agreed number of posts per page.

I have no issues with posts per page. No problem as it is. Just my opinion =)
EDIT: Is there a way we can have another tab up top as we had at the other place 'Who's online' that automatically refreshes every minute or so? Saves having to automatically refresh the page to see who's here and who just left etc.

Go to the main page. Hover over the username with your mouse and it will tell you what they are doing. The main page refreshes itself every 30 seconds. But inactivity of about 5-7 minutes will tell the user is off or still in the last thread posting.
edit. I did change basically everyone's post per page to 20 today. I couldn't do it automatically so I had to do it manually. If I haven't done it to your account please save me the time by fixing it up in your settings. I tried to get everyone's account done today but I had to do other things.

To answer yes I knew we could do that with hovering over usernames, I wanted to know if we had an actual SCREEN for it for when I have both systems on I can be on one and watch what others are doing on the other, get my drift?
Oh..an actual page. I could create a page like that from scratch and put an add on link on it. Will take me a few days to put it up hopefully. If I can't figure out how to do it, you'll all see in the missing link in the menu bar.

Okay sounds fair. I know the request sounds trivial but I'm often on two computers at once doing different things so I like the ability to keep an eye on what each are doing simultaneously. It's the one thing I actually miss from the other place. Okay that and random spammage... no wait, that's a lie as well, just that, just that XD If you get the page up and running I'd be most appreciative - if we're both still connected that is ;)

Is it possible to mark the threads you're the last poster in automatically as read?

Yeah, that's what I mean. If you post in a thread it doesn't go black unless you refresh.

^ I've already looked at that but that's gold member privilages. Anyway, it is an all ages forum and I would prefer the swearing filter on. If the occasion arises that you need to swear and you want to get your message across write the word and put a * replacing one letter. But don't swear too much in a post, new infractions will put a stop to that.
