Depends, what kind of competition did you have in mind? We can discuss the logistics if you wish and if it works then I don't see why it's not possible. No one ever said we could only have a set amount of things at once - how else do we intend for people to stay distracted and entertained here if there's "nothing" to do?

I didn't have anything in particular in mind, more of a hypothetical question really. Vague idea of an MSPain art contest or a writing one *shrug* Like I said, mainly just curious.

As I said, I personally don't have an issue with it - and for the record you might be interested to know that Jon2 and myself have already been throwing ideas back and forth about starting some kind of writing contest. We're thinking of many things here - as in a poetry comp with a set theme, a short story, something like that - and he's even working on music-oriented projects as we speak for the musically minded amongst us.

As for 'artistic' competitions, you know we actually haven't come up with anything like that yet - primarily because I felt we'd be 'overwhelming' anyone amid our ranks here at the site that had some creative flair and was thinking about taking part in our site 'logo/symbolized' idea - and didn't want to stretch anyone too thin. Maybe that was a tad presumptuous of me. No matter.

Anyway, if you want to initiate a comp then by all means feel free to start drafting it up. At least if you come at us (jack, Jon2 or myself) later down the track with an already preconcieved and scripted idea we can mull it over right then and there than say 'well you go write up some idea of what you want and then get back to us and we'll see' - would be kind of disheartening I think - and if you're anything at all like me I like things to be done yesterday... if not sooner (patience is not one of my virtues, but I have so few left one less doesn't matter XD)

So yeah, write something up even loosely and we'll take it from there. That's all I can suggest right now. Every little bit helps in some way, doesn't it?

Yeah, sure Jess, you can arrange any competition you want, as long as you present the idea to us (the staff) first, just to make sure all details are fine and there isn't a similar competition we're planning on. Like Rav said, we're working on a lot of competitions right now actually - but with the musical comps, for example, I need to recruit some more members first (otherwise it would pretty much just be me vs. Heartless I'm guessing).

Rav - good point on the graphical one. That probably would be pushing it a bit.

No, seriously, I personally would be perfectly fine with that. I've actually been meaning to suggest a Rules link, but I didn't know if there was room, so I didn't.

I suck in every game there is, no matter is it an online game, a video game or a board game. Lack of practice is my defense...

But yeah, I'm okay with removing the arcade link. You can always make a thread where you link to it separately incase some people are still interested.

I've noticed that the navigation bar - not the main one but the one between it and the posts, where it shows "Quills -> FAQs\Feedback -> What Do You Want??" etc - blends in with the background. No point in it being there if we can't see it, I'm thinking.
