My favorites rarely change. Don't get me wrong, I get into new music every week, but what I list as favorites are the songs that last time and new influences.
BUT, if I had to pick ONE favorite concerning THIS WEEK, it'd be Living Sacrifice - Mind Distant. Also been into a lot of Limp Bizkit (yeah, you heard it - my defense is that their RAR performance was badass).

"We’ve never tried to come off as better than our fans, our fans... when they come to see us play, they’re actually a part of, you know, us playing. Sonny, the way he is on stage, he connects with them, emotional and in every kind of way you can imagine, you know, musically, and I think that they can see that it’s not, you know, a put on, it’s not something that’s fake, it’s real." - Mark Daniels of P.O.D.
*lol* @ Jon2 - that made me laugh for real, not sure why, but sounded funny the way you quickly jumped to defend yourself. I don't care, Limp Bizkit had their 15 minutes I say. Behind Blue Eyes was their best though in my opinion. Can't fault the for that.
Favourite song at the moment - In the night side of Eden - HIM
It's not the whole song itself, just the end of it, the 'darker' riff there, last minute or so of that song turns rather dark and I adore it. Could be Ville's death-like pitch *giggles* what can I say, I'm a sucker for deep voices - but while it isn't one of their best songs it's certainly not their worst.
Cyanide Sun by them also deserved honourable mention. Listen to that song a lot too as of late. Now that song I do love. Must be mellowing out in my old age or something...
Haha Rav - it's just that I think most of the people (not just here, but all over the world) only remember Fred Durst and what an ass he was when the name Limp Bizkit is mentioned. Recently I've started to see their better sides, and in a whole new light over all.
This comes out selfish, but I REALLY like the new demo I got going on. It's called The Rain Takes Away.

Limp Bizkit - Don't Go Off Wandering (All-time fav by them) Deftones - Lotion Deftones - Rickets Deftones - Be Quiet & Drive (Far Away) Living Sacrifice - Reborn Empowered Thrice - A Song For Milly Michaelson Thrice - The Earth Isn't Humming

Forsaken - David Draiman Cyanide Sun - HIM Indestructible - Disturbed Before I'm Dead - Kidneythieves Real Solution # 9 - Rob Zombie We Die Young - Alice In Chains In The Night Side Of Eden -HIM
Forsaken - David Draiman The Undertaker - Puscifier Roots bloody roots - Sepultura All hope is gone - Slipknot Snuff - Slipknot Inside the Fire - Disturbed The Beginning is the end is the beginning - The Smashing Pumpkins First responder - Michael Wandmacher Wth You - Linkin Park Pts of Athrty - Linkin Park
Pretty much sums up the tunes on repeat at the mo... great energetic mix there. At least I afford myself a pause or 'breather' with 'Snuff'... see, I do have a softer side dagmannit *lol*
The old Linkin Park demo She Couldn't has been on repeat for me quite a bit lately along with Queens of the Stone Age's No One Knows.

This moment - Disturbed. The kind of song that makes me feel like picking a fight with a stranger and getting off on the adrenalin of combat and probably getting my butt kicked in the process - I'm a sick lil puppy sometimes, I know it. Admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery, so they tell me.... I don't ahve anger mismanagement issues dagnammit! *punches the screen, but doesn't really, actually laughs about thinking about doing it* Woo me ;)
New Divide - LP. Don't get me wrong, its wholistically a 'meh' song, but I'm into that bridge there, half way through, drums and choppy guitar work. I think had Joe actually done something noticable with that - and even Mikey truth be told - I'd be way more into the song by far - right now sounds like every other poppy-rock song by every other poppy-rock band in any generic bar where the jukebox is broken - At least before the serious air time squeezes the last breath from it. Linkin Park what now? Oh that? Yeah. Pfft. Whatever.
Roots bloody roots - Sepultura. An oldie but a goodie. I like cranking this so loud before the neighbours get their kids off to school of a morning (damn you school holidays! *shakes fist*) I enjoy wondering about what they're wondering about when they hear it, and laughing to myself when the kids avoid eye contact when they see me in my all-black stalking the yard. I'm the fat ghost that rarely walks *lmfao* Live in fear neighbourhood kiddies! *insert menacing Holywood-esque villainous evil laughter here*
Damnit I forgot what I was gonna say. There's a song on the radio that's so soppy I actually stunned a girl at work when I told her I liked it. God knows, it'll come back to me eventually (in time to deny it vehemently). I have moments when I can listen to the soppiest sh*t ever to grace (or graze) God's green earth... you wouldn't think it to look at me. Hell even David enjoyed Johnny Cash. Why wouldn't he? Man was a legend! Hell if I know what I'm on about, I'm just as lost at this point as anyone else is reading it! Damn you sleep deprivation... and so on... *laughs* *sighs* *tries to saunter out with a scrap of some dignity left* Hehe.
Trash by Korn. My brother just got me into this band. It's funny because yesterday morning he informed me that he didn't really even like them. I'm thinking, "So ... you got two CDs from someone because ... it was free? And you encouraged me to check them out because ... um ..." Hell I don't know, we do have more or less the same musical tastes, but I'm still surprised by his likes and dislikes sometimes. Anyway, wasn't I talking about Korn? I was.
"Trash." Awesome if sick song, go listen, I think I heard that it has a kick-ass music vid that is no doubt on teh toob (YouTube of course )
