"We’ve never tried to come off as better than our fans, our fans... when they come to see us play, they’re actually a part of, you know, us playing. Sonny, the way he is on stage, he connects with them, emotional and in every kind of way you can imagine, you know, musically, and I think that they can see that it’s not, you know, a put on, it’s not something that’s fake, it’s real." - Mark Daniels of P.O.D.

Again. I woke up a couple days ago with the chorus (though I don't think I'm remembering it quite right) stuck in my head, and I've been listening to it ever since, I swear *laughing*
"Careful what you wish, Careful what you say Careful what you wish, you might regret it Careful what you wish, you just might get it.
And it all crashes down And you break your crown And you point your finger, But there's no one around. Just one more thing Just to be the king But the castle's crumbled and you're left with just a thing - Where's you crown, King Nothing?"

If I'm not mistaken, Heartless likes these guys. And for a reason.

"This is America... P.O.D. and Santana, live in la casa... Live and direct, for you and yours... Your America (America.)
Was it the way that she looked at me She had caught my eye.. She stole my heart, she freed my mind. The way we loved it was magical... Truly wonderful... It was me and you so beautiful. And I know that you feel this too... Will our dreams come true... I believe in you. Show me the way to my better days, What's the price to pay, if I follow you?"
Okay, the lyrics could be better, but those guitar licks... OoOoOoOoOoOoOo

I read a review of Stonesour's self-titled album (the one this song's on), and the writer seemed quite surprised that Corey could actually sing, rather than scream, like this. Since I got into Stonesour before Slipknot, it'll probably be the other way around for me - "Dude, he can scream!" (or so I hope, that it won't be "Dude, he sucks at this")

I get such a kick out of the psycho vocals in the verses. And the fact that despite the screamy/growly bits, he makes a point of enunciating the second D "didn't." Like you're going to be particular about that *shakes head*
"INCREDIBLE AND CHEMICAL
... before I show you where the secret is I wanna turn you into this I wanna give you all my nothingness I wanna cover you with this."

"He wipes his hands on anything in reach He never feels clean He shakes at night because his nerve is gone Every muscle hurts Come one and all, and see what happened That broken man is me
There it goes again I can hear it louder It doesn't feel good anymore All I wanna know is -
